Buttons & Bows present us with a splash of colourful, sensuous music in their own distinctive style. Hugely varied sources inspired this collection, including ancient Bunting manuscripts, vintage 78 r.p.m. recordings, recently composed material and up-to-the-minute sessions with friends in Copenhagen, North America, Shetland and Ireland.

This is Buttons & Bows at its most flamboyant, its roots firmly established in the traditional music of Ireland, its style decidedly cosmopolitan. Barriers are broken, eneregy and humour abound, the music speaks for itself !
